Schools
The basic strategic aim of developing Business School Ostrava plc in the field of external relations was the entry in the international programme SOCRATES/Erasmus programme in 2001. In the same year our school was followed by the introduction of a system of credits (ECTS), which was the involvement of the school to the university network in the Czech Republic and other European countries.
Structure of the activities in this programme is the teaching and study visits abroad. All activities, exchanges of students and lectures are financed by the European Commission.
Study and work experience placements abroad for students and teachers represent a source of valuable experience in terms of their personal and career development. They do not represent the only way to learn a foreign language or to explore new regions, a different way of thinking, a different culture, but they become a part of the professional and academic growth. They are a mean of establishing cooperation in the field of science, but in particular, the means of dissemination of a reputation as the home institution.
